According to Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, July 30 - AQSIQ issued on the 30th in the first half of 2008 the national product quality supervision and checking of results, the number of random checks number of enterprises and products, respectively, than the first half of 2007 increased by 63% and 58%. Correspondingly, compared with sampling rate of qualified products in 2007 increased by 4.3 percentage points in 2006 compared with an improvement of 7.9 percentage points, which indicates that the overall level of China's major product quality is steadily increasing.
         The first half of AQSIQ had taken 10395 production of the 11,396 kinds of products (not related to export products), product sampling rate of qualified physical 93.8%, of which AQSIQ had taken 33 classes in the first half 3288 production of the 3813 kinds of foods. Sampling rate of qualified food in kind was 98.4%, compared with 2007 increased by 4 percentage points compared with 2006 increased by nearly 9 percentage points.
